How long should I keep the message board open for?
This would depend on the purpose of the event you have created.
An online only event could stay open until moments before the recipient receives the message board.
An event that requires the message board to be converted into a slide-show would require a short amount of time ahead of the presentation to prepare.
A message board that will be used as an online guest book, we would recommend keeping open for a few days or weeks after the event to allow people to upload their photos and videos.
What is a Guardian?
The Guardian is the person who creates the event.
The Guardian controls the Event, determining the close date, monitoring the posts and removing any that are inappropriate, and how the event is delivered to the recipient.
The Guardian has overall responsibility of the Collection Pot.
It is the Guardians decision which gift is purchased, and how the gift shall be delivered.
Can I have more than 1 recipient?
The Guardian determines how the recipient is named in the Event. For Events intended for more than 1 person,
such as a wedding or birth of a child, the Guardian may choose to list more than 1 person.
The link for the recipient can be sent to multiple email addresses and shared on social media.
Does the collection pot and message board need to close at the same time?
We would recommend closing the collection pot at least 10 days ahead of the event, to allow the gift to be chosen, ordered and delivered in time for the event.
The message board can stay open even after the collection pot has closed.

Can I create an Event without collecting money?
Yes, simply select ‘no collection pot’ when creating the event.
